2011 GCC Presentation of Awards
A packed Memorial Hall witnessed the Annual Awards Ceremony
The senior awards were introduced by congratulating the captains on the success of the Firsts (3rd in League and runners up in th Les Tunnah Trophy), Seconds (League Champions) and the midweek team (League Champions)
Captains and officials then presented trophies as follows
1st Team Player of Season.....Sean Richards
2nd ......Ian Weaver/James Williams
Midweek .......Dave Baker
Performance ........Rory Benson
Clubman ........James Williams
John Gill Trophy ......... Ian Weaver
and the most prestigious award of the `Brick` went to George Morris
Youth Team coaches outlined a most successful season with the U13`s leading the way finishing runners up in the Welsh Cup
Age group players of the season
U9`s Cam, U11`s Sam Thompson, U13`s Harry Morris, U15`s James Austin
Stanley Buxton Trophy....Chris Mulloch
A special thankyou and presenatation was made to denise, Linda and Linda for all their work and fundraising over the past twelve months.
