Sean Richards continued his fine form with the ball as he struck three times in the opening overs to reduce Bangor to 6 for 3. Both openers bowled tightly as Bangor’s total after 15 overs was less than 20. Bangor Rallied to 156/9 with Richards returning to finish on 5/21. Chris Ellwood (2/29), Paddy Richards (2/34) and the ’spin’ of Matty Cree (1 wicket) the other wicket takers. In reply, Daniel Williams hit a fine 49, punishing anything loose. Arthur Thomas (50*) and Chris Ellwood (32*) finished the job to move Gresford to 4th in the table. |
