Morning rain meant a delayed start, G`ford were asked to bat first and after the loss of an early wk, good stands of 69 (J.Bell and C.Ellwood 26) and 47 (Bell and S Richards 47) allowed G`ford to set 198. Bell finished on 73 with Sean Richards reaching his maiden first team fifty in 50 balls! Well done to Sean. Halkyn`s reply never really got going. Four bowlers shared the wks..2 each.....D. Williams, J Bell, S Richards and G Bell (his first at this level). A winning draw for G`ford ( by 106 runs!). |
