The 2nds played host to Abergele 2nds. Simon Perry (3-33) and James Williams (12 overs for 40) made sure the visitors made a quiet start to their innings. However some late hitting took the sea-siders to 179. In reply, Gresford lost their first 5 wickets for just 76 and seemed in deep trouble before James Griffin (26no) helped to steady the ship allowing George Morris (64no from 8 overs) to leave the away team well and truly shell shocked.
