| Match Report | DOBIE GOES LIKE THE CLAPPERS AS GCC TAKE ON PONT - 20TH JUNE 2013 Read all about it, 'free runs at Gresford'!! Bowling attack put in a great performance, but we do make it difficult, only 64 scored off the bat, but the extras took them up to 90-9 off their 20 overs. Wickets were shared out between Jack Cooper (1), Ryan Williams (1), Tomos Roberts (1), Dan Parry (2), Rob Clark (1) and a trio of run outs. Batting second, Rob Clark made a solid 13 before being caught and bowled, Joe Rees-Slawson opened with him, Zak Dobie then got the run chase underway with a machine gun 32* retired, comprising of five fours. Tomos Roberts was in good touch with 16*, Ryan McCarthy got a couple, before skipper Sam Thompson saw us home with 18*. GCC finished on 92-3 off 13 overs. |
