| Match Report | As always it would seem we have agood game against `a colourful` Denbigh side. The early 11am start inevitable led to whoever won the toss would choose to bowl. And so we did and we did it well. Denbigh are agood batting side, restricting them to 155 was a good effort from the bowlers (JB 3 for 20 off 12 with the best figs), helped by two brill run outs (CE and MT). Gresford reply was all about patience...the top 5 bats contributing 20+ each with Sam T completing the win with a quickfire 15no. 7th in the League....Danny should be justifiably pleased with his first season as capt (as well as his 700 runs!). Thanks to him from everybody who played 1st team cricket this year. |
