| Match Report | Friday rain meant that most thought that there was no chance of this game being on, it was still damp Sat am but we started on time. Amazing...and well done to those who made it happen! Danny`s decision to field first was the right one as the initial 10 overs were difficult for batsmen. The wk settled down as it dried. St A were never in it early wks for Chris E and Ryan W (2 each) with five at the end for John B ....108 all out. Gresford`s reply started positively with the Thompson twins (sorry, brothers) getting us off to a good start. Matt`s wk was the only one to fall(16). Sam and Danny W with 40+ each saw us home for a big 14-1 win. |
