| Match Report | 6 wins on the trot, surely a Prem div record for us. Northop decided to put us in on what turned out to be a `challenging` dusty wk. The Thompson openers batted with great patience and skill, both scoring 50+ (Matt 53, Sam 62).....it was their partnership that really won the game for us. A quickfire run a ball 44 from Chris M helped push our score upto 211 for 6. The bowlers then took over....bowl straight and full and let the wk do the work. This is what all five bowlers did, with Gareth B (4 for 12 off 10) amd Ryan W (3 for 14 off 7) the stars of the show. Onwards and UPWARDS we go! |
