| Match Report | A game we could and perhaps should have won. The visitors 198 was perhaps a par score....helped by 48 extras, their second highest scorer. A welcome 3 wk haul for the skipper was the highlight of the bowling, although all bowled well (wides apart) At 60 for 0 off 10, with Danny W and Matt T in complete control optimism was high. Wks then fell, often to careless shots. A 6th wk partnership between Matty C (52) and Gareth B (24) gave hope but the overs were against them. 20 runs short (48 vs 15 extras! An opportunity missed. |
