Batting first Gresford produced their best batting display of the season; not in terms of the total scored but the excellent concentration shown in only losing two wickets. This was down to good footwork and playing with a straight bat. Especially debutants Freddy and Zander who both did well. Dan P struck the ball well near the end of the innings.
Gresford then bowled very well restricting Pont to 41/3. Only 10 runs came off the bat, which shows how straight and accurate the bowling was. Ethan and Henry both taking wickets with excellent deliveries. Dan P kept well and there was also good bowling from Matthew, Toby and Ryan. |
