Gresford come up 10 runs in a close match between two evenly matched teams.

Batting first Gresford got off to a steadt start with Henry hitting some excellent looking drives. Jack C continued his fine form again with 30 runs, hitting the boundary on many occassions. Daniel J batted sensibly once again as Gresford reached 60 runs. A competitive total.

in reply Gresford started well. Henry picked up 2 wickets in his first two overs with brilliant full pitched deliveries hitting the stumps. Chirk, however, left their best hitters until last and Gresford's fielding came under pressure. Extra practice backing up and long barriers needed. Unlucky boys, keep up the enthusiasm!
