| Match Report | The Under 15`s got their season under way with a Welsh Cup match against a strong and more experienced Northop Hall side. Batting first NH eventually reached 111 for 2, highlights for G included good opening spells form Sam Cooper (11 runs off 4 overs) and skipper Harry Morris (16 off 4). Lewis` excellent run out was also worth watching. In reply G started steadily but could neve r keep up with the required runrate despite an excellent 50no from Luke Filer and late flurry of 19no from Chris Mullock. A 14 run loss as G closed on 97 for 6 after the loss of quick wickets in the final overs run chase. |
