Fielding cost the game! The 20 run defeat could easily have been reversed with a bit more enthusiasm when we fielded. Bowling was ok, with Freddie and Tom B steady as always. Matt S and debutant Zoe C the pick of the bowlers with Dan C unlucky to be given just one over. Northop 119 after 20 overs. Without skipper Cam Evans, Will R opened with Ewan. Will was a little unlucky to be out for a well made 11. Ewan, as he has done in most games went on to retire at 31..excellent knock. Tom B and Ben E threatened to get the innings going with 11 each but it was left to Dan C to light up the end of our innings with 17 very stylish runs.
