Match Report | A re-organised, re-arranged, re-match with re-venge fresh on Gresford's minds. Earlier on in the season Westminster punished a poor Gresford perfomance in a convincing 6 wicket victory. This time around the Gresford fielding and bowling was excellent. Dan Griffin and Gareth Bell gave little away in a tight opening spell, Matt Daulby and Dave Baker followed this up to leave Westminster on 94-8 after their 20 overs. In reply, Perry and Morris got Gresford off to a steady start, scoring 34 off the first 7 overs. Danny Williams then came in to finish the job, with Gresford reaching the target comfortably with 16 balls to spare. Next week sees Gresford host Carmel, following this an away trip to Dodleston and then a double header against Chester Asians which will decide where the division 6 trophy is heading this season. |
