| Match Report | And we're off..... Finally Gresford got their season underway in a match that only went ahead because of the all weather astro turf. Fielding first, Jack Bunkell struck early with 2 wickets putting Heberians on the back foot. Gresford never really took their foot off the gas with no bowler allowing the batting side any room to play shots. Matt Daulby bowling 4 overs for only 14, Gareth Bell 4 overs for 18 and Simon Perry 4 overs for 9. Heberians posted 98/3 off 20 In Reply Gresford sent out an opening pairing that the Bangalore Royal Challengers would be jealous of ,in the shape of Chris Ellwood and George Morris. Ellwood hammered a 'Chris Gayle like' 71 not out, testing out the resilience of the new solar panels on the memorial hall roof in the process. Gresford won the game inside 11 overs. George Morris also contributing 20.
