| Match Report | The first win of the season...most welcome and against local rivals, Brymbo. Brymbo asked us to bat and Matty Cree took full advantage of this kind invitation. His 113 no can only be described as brilliant. He was well suported by his top order partners...fellow opener Matt T (41) abd nos three Jack Bunks (42) In reply threatened our score in mid innings but with Chris Ellwood and SP taking the bulk of the wks Bymbos eventually were restricted to just 165. Two fielding highlights....Gareth Bell`s outstanding boundary catch whilst hopping over the boundary IPL style and a runnout and catch for the skipper ! |
