On a very wet pitch Gresford were asked to bat and were out for just 113 with the Griffins (Steve 33 and James 27) the main contrbutors. Shotton found it equally difficult to score runs eventually reaching 114 for 9 to secure anoaarow 6 - 4 win. Jack Bunkell with 2 for 19 off 10 the pick of the bowlers.
