Match Report | A good, tight local derby. Credit first to Llay for getting the game played after yesterdays constant deluge. G ford were asked to bat and wks fell regularly with only David Baker (24) of the top order scoring well. At 60 for 7 things looked bleak. A match winning 39 from Matt Daulby who was well supported by Danny Griffin (14) allowed thwe away team to reach 149 for 9. Llays reply started well but wks tumbled to all the bowlers with James Williams 2 for 17 off 8 the key spell. A competitive 6 - 4 win by 9 runs. |
