A downpour at 12 meant start was delayed to 2.30pm. Match reduced to 84 overs with the side batting first able to bat 44. Gresford were indebted to some slack Marchwiel fielding and Danny Williams and Chris Ellwood in particular took advantage. Thunder could be heard for the last 15 overs of the innings and we were told the weather would miss us. Not to be.
