| Match Report | The hottest day so far, the best game so far and for some a tour of N Wales before we even started. With only 5 players at 1.30pm batting first was the only option. Wks fell quickly at first and at 31 for 3 it didn`t look good, a brilliant 199 partnership then followed between Danny Williams (76) and Chris Ellwood ( a best ever 123) this allowed G`ford to reach an imposing 266 for 6 dec off 48 overs. The Pwll reply followed a similar pattern, 2 wks in successive balls from Gareth Bell left them at 31 for 3! Runs then flowed from all allowing Pwll to raech 269 for 6 off 50 overs....and an 8.40pm finish. A brilliant game......unfortunately! |
