| Match Report | This was our first ever Flintshire KO match.....at the third time of asking. The much improved Buckley ground looked gd with new nets, covers and a pavilion roof! The wk however proving a difficult one to score on...remarkably G hit only one boundary in their inns.....even more remarkable it was JB who hit it!. G`s 99 runs was to prove difficult to get and Buckley fell 13 runs short Tight bowling from all (JB`s 4 for 18 off 5 the best figs) supported by ex catches from Gareth B (2), Sam C, and Danny W were the difference between the teams.(running quick singles also) Batting wise James Francis (21no) top scored. |
