| Match Report | At last the U15`s got their season up and running...despite the dark and the drizzle. Good bowling a and some good catching I especially from Sam Burke restricted Malpas to 88 in 20 overs for the loss of 10wks. Toby Bellis` (2 for nought of 2) and Henry Soper (1 for 4) set the tone, the rest followed. Tom Doggett`s two late wks were particularly well received. As the drizzle became heavier Gd`s batsmen recoverd from the early loss of skipper Jack C (captaincy was gd!) to reach 89 for 2 off just 9.1 overs. Ex batting from both Ewan Hoskins (25) and Dan Parry (32no). Gd start. Ta to Mrs C...scoring and to all who helped clear away. |
