An important game for the Gresford side, win it and stay in pole position, lose it and risk the chance of 2nd in the league gaining points.

Gresford fielded first, debutant Louie, looked at home with his two over taking a wicket first ball of the game, bowling tight lines throughout. Luke decided he was going to join in taking another wicket with his first ball and a second in his final over.

Dan's overs were tight and unlucky, close misses with every ball, to quick for the bat. Sister Zoe kept the ball rolling  again a good spell with little runs being offered to the batting side.

Sebastian found his line quickly homing the ball in on the wickets, looking for that golden ball. Ranija steamed in with maximum effort which paid off in his second over taking a superb wicket.

Rohan's two overs mirrored the teams innings, width good, line good, wickets YES. Another one to add to the increasing Gresford tally. Finally Chris, two overs minimal runs and a wicket to cap it all off. What a start for Gresford putting themselves in the driving seat. Pont scoring just 215 runs.

Let the batting commence, first in Luke and Louie, steady start with the loss of just two wickets got the team on the front foot. Next in Chris and Sebastian, added to the confident start the boys just lost the one wicket and played some aggressive powerful shots. Chris standing out with two 4's and a single. Zoe and Ranija took over the baton, the pair bounced off one another well, runs sent the team into the lead all down to some inventive batting and running. Last to the crease Dan and Rohan, the duo finished the game off in style. Dan 10 runs, Rohan 5 runs. Running between the wickets with speed helped the pair in their bid for runs.

Gresford finished on 250. Great performance from everyone.
