Br elected to bat and where met by accurate bowling and good ground fielding (catching was not up to the standard we have set ourselves in recent weeks) SP`s 5 for 27 was an outstanding highlight. 143 all out was way below a good score and this was only achieved by some late order hitting. Matty Cree then took over with a little help from his friends (Alex E 32, Danny W 22). His innings of 80no quite simly was brilliant. Brymbo` s opening bowlers (who have been taking loads of wks so far this season) couldn`t find a weakness and the runs followed. 145 for 2 and 14 points. Upto 3rd in the League.....as the umpire pointed out, what odds on a Leicester/Gresford double?
