Gresford Under 13's Vs Northop (Welsh Cup)

GCC Vs Northop U13's - First round Welsh Cup

Northop batted first and made 83 -6 off there 20 overs.  Wickets were taken by Dan Jones, Jack Billington, Tom Barlow (2), Iwan Roberts.  GCC were complimented by the opposition coach on their bowling.  However, the outstanding fielding sequence was the pick and throw by Matthew Soper, aiming at just one stump ran out one of the openers with a direct hit. 

GCC then set about the chase and skipper Cam Evans set the standard with an excellent 30 not out, Jack Billington got a start, however Dan Jones (24*) and Tom Barlow (8*) saw Gresford home to a win in fourteen overs.

Good team performance overall with all contributing to the performance.
