| Match Report | GCC U13 Vs Gwersyllt Thursday 30th July 2015 Gwersyllt batted first and made 110-9 off their twenty overs. Wickets were taken by Cam Evans (2), Jenny Billington (1), Elsa Hodgson (1), Dan Jones (2), Louis Davies (1) and Ben Hennesey (1). Louis Davies and Ben H were also in the action with two good catches. Iwan completed the last wicket with a run out. After some excellent home made cup cakes and chocolate brownies GCC were just about ready for the chase. Cam (27*) and Dan (17) made a great foundation. Iwan Roberts (10), Jack Billington (18*) and Louis Davies (9*) finished the innings in style achieving the total in the eighteenth over. A great result that everyone contributed to in the field but still giving away too many extras (30) in this match. Many thanks to the mums and grand mums for making the hospitality as good as the cricket match. |
