| Match Report | GWERSYLLT U13'S Vs GCC U13 - 28TH mAY 2015 As the away team GCC batted first and the openers of Cam Evans, Ewan Hoskins, Jack Billington and Dan Jones all put in strong performances, they were assisted by James Smith, Tom Barlow and Matthew Marshall as GCC reached 144-3 after their 20 overs. After a short break eleven bowlers were used and Matthew Marshall 2-8 off two overs and Matthew Soper 3-8 were the stand out attackers. After 20 overs Gwersyllt reached 94-7, fifty runs short of the target set by the GCC batsmen. The most pleasing was the improvement in the fielding standards from the previous week in what were cold and blustery conditions. Luke Birbeck, Zoe Cabrell and EwanRoberts set the standards with terrific efforts with high catches. |
