Gresford Under 15's Vs Northop Hall U13

Friday 3rd June  NE Wales Regional Final of Welsh Cup U15`s away at Northop Hall
On a lovely sunny evening G`ford elected to bat and eventually reached a par score of 125 for 5 off their 20 overs. Henry Makings held the innins together with a well made 49no. good support came from Matt Curtis and George Thompson. The home side reply was progressing comfortably until Harry Morris and Mark Breese were introduced, the pair quickly took 3 wks off 4 overs for a few runs... the Hall reply stalled and a degree of panic ensued allowing G`ford to win by 8 runs. The real bowling star however was Fras Murdoch whose 4 overs went for  just 9 runs.
