Sunday 5th June.—Gresford took a young side to Knockin (9 players aged 18 or under) and bowled well to restrict the hosts to 170 (Tomos Williams with 2 wickets). In reply, Gresford were steady without being spectacular James Griffin, Harry Morris and Sam Cooper all applying themselves well. The game will have provided Harry and Sam with great experience. It also provided Les with his first double figure score since 2007 (or so we’re told!). Gresford finshed their innings 50 runs short of Knockin’s total. |
